10 Really Good Social Networking Websites for Businesses

So I just finished up some lessons here on our premium section of jasonverdelli.com and decided to venture out on the web and search for a few business related social networking websites. Sometime I find myself spending so much time on certain business focused social networking websites all to find out that either the quality of contacts is suffering or the overall growth and usage of the site is suffering. For those of you out there that do run a business or play more of an entrepreneurial role in one, finding a GOOD social network for business outside of the common one’s like LinkedIn.com can be tough. So I went searching some more and found a few websites that I thought you might find valuable. I am listing a few for you so you can take some time to choose which one’s you may want to become a part of. The key thing to remember in whatever social network that you choose is that you need to think of the amount of time that you plan on spending on these websites. Is that time worth it? Are the quality of contacts and activity on the website worth it. These are all questions that you need to ask yourself when it comes to decided where your best time is going to be spent. I have done some of the homework for you here within this post, but encourage you to seek out further to find social networks that are going to be best suited for your purpose.
Here is what I mean by finding the best social networks that are going to be best suited for you. In order to see value in the “connections” that you will make on these social networks, the type of people and what industry they are in can play a large part in your overall success. The second thing to think about is what is “success” for you. What makes you spending a portion of your day on the social network worth it. Is it sales, new contacts, feedback. Essentially what are you searching for and what do you want to get out of it. Once you have thought of these points you should then determine whether or not your time is best spent on these sites.
I want to instill this thought process in your head before you start venturing out and visiting these social networking websites. By all mean, it is your time that is valuable.
