The internet is a confusing place. I’ll admit it. I’ve been in this world for over 8 years now and know one thing for sure, there is not one straightforward technology or strategy in the book that is proven to attract customers and fans to your brand and more importantly, keep them there. The challenge is figuring out how you are going to pull together all of the technology, tools and tactics into one unified strategy that is executed consistency and produces measurable results that are relevant to your organization. For businesses, this could mean how to attract “x” new customers and keep “x” over “y” time period. A lot of what I talk about here is on aspects of the overall inbound marketing process. The real question is, what does the overall inbound marketing process look like?

Understanding what the roadmap looks like is half the battle. From here you need to focus on how you are going to execute tactics in each step in order to achieve the results you are looking for.
